T. spiralis infected mouse muscle just after newborn larvae penetration

Method
Regular Transmission Electron Microscopy

Explanation
The infected muscle cell looses its integrity after newborn larvae penetration.

The newborne parasite is at the lower portion of this micrograph. In the cytoplasm, thre is still remnant of actin-myosin structure.
